Below is a summary of the challenges that will be played at the end of Official Fun Events which will be taking part weekly for each platform. For specific time please go to the Events Calander Thread:

The Impossibles are a set of challenges, inspired and chosen by YRUACNT, that will be taken on by the members who do the best in each of the Fun Events sessions run across he platforms. They are determined by handicaps and restrictions which make them incredibly hard to achieve victory in.

The impossible challenges are set for one challenger to complete, the challenger can only complete the challenge by beating the mission. The best player (chosen by the host co-ordinator for each session) will try and complete the challenge while the other members from the session will be the opposition.

All of the challenges have a level of difficulty, starting at level 1, ending at level 4. You can only move up a level of difficulty once you have completed the previous level of difficulty, everybody by default will start at level 1 games. For most of the levels of difficulty there are more than one game to pick from, it's your own personal preference which one you choose.

For each level you complete you will be rewarded a graphic ribbon, which will also denote the game you chose. These graphic ribbons are for bragging rights, to show off to other death bringers what you have achieved, and obviously the more you achieve the more you can brag. These will be extremely sought after as the challenges will be so hard!

Starting at level 2 there are some prizes to be won for the first people to complete that level of difficulty, see in the list below.

Level 1 games (very hard) = Level ribbon
Level 2 games (extreme hard) = Death Bringer Merch (+ level ribbon)
Level 3 games (ridiculous hard) = Death Bringer Limited Edition Merch (+ level ribbon)
Level 4 games (insane hard) = A game of your choice (+ level ribbon)

Each of the Impossible Challenges must be official and completed in front of a member of the events team. The challenger will be picked by the Fun Events Co-Ordinator, if you want to be picked, you must make sure that you attend the fun events of the specific day and perform well in the Casual Games.

Games

Below will be all the Impossible Challenges available on Modern Warfare 2. Please read all the games as they contain rules and restrictions.

Further games will be added as time goes by after full approval by the Events Team.

007 – Original game (Level 1)

Plot:

You are special agent 007 of the UK Secret Service called MI6. Your mission is to help take down a terrorist organisation. The terrorists are planning to ship AI weapon computer chips, you must stop this from happening by taking out all of those who guard them, or destroy one of the shipping loads with the bomb provided, after which Taskforce 141 will move in on the area concluding your mission.

Game type - Search and Destroy
Maps: Faleva and Sub Base only
Perks: Enabled
Killstreak Rewards: Disabled
Rounds: 4
Round length: 10 mins
Switch: never
Radar: off
Spectators: free

Rules and restriction:

1 challenger vs 6 BoS members.
Temporary challenger clan tag = [007]

007 (challenger)

At the start of the game you must wait 30 seconds for the enemies to get to their positions.

Primary: Not allowed (so SMG Recommend)
Secondary: USP.45 (+ Silencer compulsory)(Tact Knife optional)
Equipment: Tac-insertion (as no equipment allowed)
Grenade: Smoke only
Perks: Any (Cold-blooded/ Cold-blooded Pro & One man army/OMA Pro are not allowed)

Snipers (BoS members)

At the start of the game you have 30 seconds to pick a area i.e. rooftop, room or corner maybe. Which cannot be shared by your team mates, you must stay in this area and cannot move more than ten virtual feet or so, until the bomb is planted, in which you may then roam freely to defuse the bomb or kill 007.

Primary - Any Sniper Rifle (Standard scope only)
Secondary - Not to be used
Equipment - Frag only
Grenade - Flash only
Perks - Any

Turf War (Level 2)

Inspired by American gangster films and music.

Plot:
You’re a member a small gang starting to make a reputation for itself in the big smoke, you were sent to complete a deal, but realize the location has put you in the heart of the Crips' gang territory. You haven’t gone unnoticed, alone you better take their turf and gain their respect otherwise your gang, the Bloods, will be shamed.

Game type: Domination
Maps: Faleva, Skidrow and Storm.
Killstreak rewards: Disabled
Perks: Disabled
Lives: Unlimited
Spectators: free

Rules and restriction:

1 challenger vs 2 BoS members.
Temporary challenger clan tag = [BLUD]
Temporary Crips team clan tag = [CRIP]

Classes for both teams:

Primary weapon - Not allowed (so SMG Recommend)
Secondary weapon - any handguns (akimbo optional), SPAS-12 and TMP.
Equipment - Throwing knife
Special grenade - Not to be used

007 – Operation Derail (Level 2)

Plot:
MI6 have been tipped off that there is another location holding the AI weapon computer chips, so once again you have been sent in to deal with the problem. But this time you're out in the open with less areas to take cover and the terrorist snipers have better weapons capabilities, it won't be easy.

Rules and restriction:

1 challenger vs 6 BoS members.
Temporary challenger clan tag = [007]
Identical game set up and rules to 007 (Level 1), except at the start of the game the snipers get 40 seconds instead of 30 to take positions because of the map size.

007 (challenger) class restrictions:
Same as the original 007 lvl 1

Sniper class restrictions

First weapon - Any Sniper Rifle (Thermal scope or any)
Secondary Weapon - any none-vehicle Laucher
Equipment - Frag or Claymore.
Grenade - Flash only
Perks - any

Knife Party – 1 v ALL (Level 2)

The same knife party rules as played in casual events. Only it is the challenger against all the other players!

1 vs maximum amount BoS members.

Game type: Team Deathmatch
Maps: usual Knife Party maps
Lives: 3
Time: 10 mins

Turf War – Part II (Level 3)

Plot:
After your bust up in the Crips gang territory, they have sent heavily armed gang members and the Boss to take your neighborhoods turf when you're on your own. So it's up to you to protect your turf and respect for the sake of your neighborhood.

Bellow is mostly the same as the original Turf War (Level 2)

Game type: Domination
Maps: Faleva, Skidrow and Storm.
Killstreak rewards: Disabled
Perks: Disabled
Lives: Unlimited
Spectators: free

Rules and restriction:

1 challenger vs 3 BoS members.
Temporary challenger clan tag = [BLUD]
Temporary Crips team clan tag = [CRIP]
Temporary Crip Boss clan tag = [BOSS]

Blood class restrictions:
Same as Lvl 1 Turf War.

Crip class restrictions:
Same as Lvl 1 Turf War.

Crip Boss class restrictions:

Primary weapon - P90 or MINI-UZI (No attachments)
Secondary weapon - Any handguns (akimbo optional)
Equipment - Throwing knife
Special grenade - Not to be used.

Hunted Down (Level 4)

Inspired by old war films.

Plot:
You are a US private that has been kept captive for five years in a Russian concentration camp. But now you've managed to escape the camp's walls, but you're still on the run and you don't know how many guards are after you and what weapons they might be carrying. You on the other hand are only armed with weapons you stole from the guard you beat up. Now you must not be hunted down for the 10mins it takes for your evac to arrive.

Game type: Team Deathmatch
Maps: Underpass
Killstreak rewards: Disabled
Perks: Enabled
Lives: Unlimited (but game ends on Challengers first death)
Spectators: free
Time: 10 mins

Rules and restrictions

1 vs maximum amount BoS members.
Temporary challenger clan tag = [USA]
Temporary Russian team clan tag = [RUS]

At the start of the game the challenger has 20 seconds to find a spot to hide, before the enemy team can begin to move.

The prisoner can only pass this challenge by surviving a full 10 mins without dying. Russians keep respawning. If you are on the Russian team and you kill the challenger, you must then announce it on the mic, then the official witness will confirm and end game.

Russian class restrictions:

Any set up you like.

US private (challenger) class restrictions:

Primary Weapon: any SMG
Secondary Weapon: AA-12
Equipment: Frag Grenade
Special Grenade: Not to be used
(He can pick up Russian Weapons)

Perks: all except Ninja/Ninja Pro and one man army are available.
