Hi my name is Daniel aka SEAN. I was previously incharge of competitive gaming as it was previously known. On here i have met many friends of which recon was one of them. I previsouly served in the Royal Navy in iraq in 2003, 2005, and 2007 and left just before i was sent to Afghanistan. Unfortunatly many of our members are currently serving in the armed forces one whom i got to know was recon who was recently sent to afghan for his stint over there. Recently though recon was caught by enemy fire while on patrol in his helicopter. The pilot and co pilot were killed but managed to land it so that the occupants survived. Recon suffered many injuries of which two broken legs was among them. Recon and another occupant managed to despite their injuries pulled both the pilot and co pilot out of the aircraft as well as the remaining crew. Recon will recieve the Purple heart which i believe now makes to but his CO is recommending him for the Bronze Star and the Army Distinguished Service Cross.

As most of you are not aware of our new site move was contributed to by a certain member called Robert Bakker aka Vyrce. In exchange the fallen soldiers of the crash where to be given a mention on the site in some form. I for one do not see this as fit so i have had PD create this section for them and for all the Fallen heroes who have died serving their country so bravely. This section is for fallen heroes who have died serving their countries so i would like to personnally thank Vryce for his contribution to the clan. If You Knwo someone who has died serving their country be it UK, USA or canadian I would like it posted here in our own DB memorial wall. I will be adding the first ones of the air crew killed in the crash which injured recon.

Thanks for reading this i hope it is a fitting tribute to Recon and all the other serving Armed Forces personnel putting themselve in the firing line for our freedoms.
